The old cliche about when a man and a woman marry holds true. She believes he can and will change, and he believes she wont.

My ex behaved similarly when I proved an unworkable project.

Your post made me laugh, because I get this ALL THE TIME from my DH about food, and we are both NT. He is just more observant and picky about produce than I am.
