Can't figure out how to post it properly. if anyone's really interested in seeing my aspie picture they can copy and paste the url without the little image tags on it and it'll take you to my photo bucket. Basically it's just my friend looking sad and me looking awkward and uncomfortable and looking as far away from her as possible. I did paint over my friend's face.

[Mod. edit: fixed that for you! ]

Oh, thank you very much, mod. What did I do wrong in posting?

The URL for all images posted here needs to start with "http" (note, not "https") and end with an image filename of type jpg, png or gif, and that URL is made to appear as the image it points to when it is enclosed inside the [img]...[/img] tags in a post.

Photobucket will provide all that ready formatted - you just need to click in the right place on your album page and then paste into your post here.
On the right of the image you originally linked, on your album page, is an area titled "Links to share this photo" and underneath that, small box with "IMG" to the left of it.
If you click inside it, a "Copied" label with be displayed briefly as information is copied to your computer's clipboard.
All you need do now is to right-click inside the post you're writing and select "paste" - a line of text will appear.
If you preview your post you should see the image displayed.
The display works best when the pasted line is on a line by itself and to avoid rescaling problems, caused by bugs in the forum software, please don't post anything larger than 800x600.

Recently, Photobucket made some changes to the information it provides with the URL which results in unnecessary (and untidy) additional tags appearing. The best way to prevent that is to edit your Photobucket settings: click on "Update link options" (it's underneath the IMG box described earlier) and make sure "Link back to albums" is not selected, then click on the "Save" button below the options.
This means that you will end up pasting a specific URL for the image only, as it was before.

It's all much easier than it looks, really...
PM me if you get stuck.

Gosh, what strikes me about these pics is most of you look pretty stylish. I don't know how to word this without seeming like I'm saying "aaah, you all look hip and normal" --- I'm not really saying that, because I'm quite a poor judge of appearances.

I clearly dress odd - I stand out as dressing odd, and not in a "she has her own style" way. Just peculiar.

Hahaha, I'm like burning a fecking hole into my music charts with my eyes. My high school jazz ensemble was going to the elementary schools that day, playing for them. So here's me hyper-focusing, not realizing one of the band-mom is sneaking candid photos (which I'm notorious about hating and avoiding to the point where it's a joke with all of them).

The only Aspie picture I see here is the young lady on the toy horse. Otherwise the rest looks like NT stuff.

The settings (hanging out with friends, at bars, events, etc.) look NT, it's the body language and facial expressions that don't so much, IMO.

All I can say about that is that, though I might dress in a more stylish way at times...I still screw it up. I get too excited, and want to wear all of the pretty clothes at once, and wind up looking weird/overdone/mismatched. Or I miscalculate and wear something MUCH too formal for wherever I am going, and feel incredibly awkward being the only person dressed that way. Then, the next time, I think I've learned and dress down, only to end up the only person in jeans, feeling dumpy.

I've given up, and have just started asking my husband, "Do I match? Is this appropriate for where we're going?" or, I'll get dressed a few hours before we have to go anywhere. If, in the time frame before we leave, I realize that I feel really uncomfortable in what I'm wearing, then I take it all off and start over again, usually in a much less complicated/elaborate outfit. I feel like getting dressed appropriately shouldn't be this difficult! Ha.

Just dropping by to say I love this thread. Have no pics, however; I've deleted most of my pictures because it makes me feel self-centered to have pics of myself on my computer. :?
The ones I have are special pics for profiles, etc. that are not candid and therefore not particularly aspie, just plain. My friends don't like taking pics so I rarely get pics of myself taken in social settings.
