I don't much like being photographed (when I know about it) but then I don't much like being stared at by CCTV cameras either. It always amazes me the amount of people who duck their faces when a photographer comes in their general direction but don't seem to mind being photographed all the time in public without their knowledge!

If I want somebody to take a picture of me, I'll ask them. Other than that, I hate getting my picture taken.

I don't mind being photographed, but I am always surprised that I actually SHOW UP in the picture, as I've grown so used to feeling invisible, I assume I must actually BE invisible!

You look in the mirror and say, "Holy s**t! I didn't know I was visible!"

It almost seems like my reflection is some other entity so I do weird things in front of mirrors to tease my reflection.

I actually don't mind the public surveillance/security cameras. It's the personal cameras pointed directly at me that I don't like.

My senior portrait is the only picture taken of me that I like. Most pictures show me looking pale, washed out.

CCTV systems are almost entirely unregulated here and the majority of the four million plus cameras are owned by individuals and private concerns. I don't think that CCTV is inherently bad but it's beyond a joke over here.

I'm yet another Aspie who hates being photographed. I do it only to appease my mother, and I still put up a fuss. I think I hate it because you have to look at people.

I don't like being photographed because I'm ugly. It's bad enough that there's one of my face floating around.

My avatar is okay because it's a highly innaccurate illustration.

I enjoy being photographed. But I think I might also be highly narcissistic. I like looking at my own image in the mirror as well.

What I hate would be bad cameras. The ones that make everyone look like they have Halloween makeup on and dark red lipstick are particularly annoying.

I've learned to photgraph well. I tell myself some dumb joke and manage a laugh as the pic is taken.

I don't mind candid pictures, though I don't like looking at myself in them. I really hate posing with a smile. It feels so false
