Very clumsy here. Thankfully, I've never done myself any serious injury. Today, I missed the bottom step, as I went down to the basement floor of a clothing store and landed with both feet together and knees bent, as if I had just done some amazing gymnastic feat. I think I just about scared the wits out of a woman who heard my spectacular landing. And I bite my cheeks, accidentally and deliberately (bad habit).

I have accidently chomped on both inner cheeks, usually at the level of my molars but also occasionally by my bicuspids and even incisors on my inner lips. I take it the reason is due to insufficient multitasking ability or defective brain function regarding things in between strictly voluntary movements and autonomic movements.

I used to do this a lot when I was younger but right now I could only say that I like ice-cream.

My ice-cream eating versus cheek biting/clumsiness ratio has shifted all the way to the ice-cream side the last few years.

As a matter of fact I just bought more ice-cream today, oh how I love ice-cream :D

I am fairly clumsy but this last week or so I have been really bad, dropping things and walking into door handles. I cannot say I bite my cheek accidentally, I do it as a stim, I think, all the time.

come to think of it, there have been times when I unconsciously have sucked in my cheeks between my upper and lower teeth, then stopped when I became aware of the discomfort. I don't know why that happens.

not sure that i've really bit my cheeks that much, but I am clumsy. Having said that, I have dyspraxia as well as ASD and ADHD. What a wonderful combination LOL.

I do sometimes suck my cheeks in-between my teeth, but I assumed everyone did that :)

Accidently bite my cheek? No, I chew the insides of my cheeks on purpose, sometimes without even realizing it. (I just caught myself doing it now.)

I have a lot of nasty scars on the insides of my cheeks.

one important thing to remember, fellow cheek chewers- always rinse out the mouth thoroughly after each incident, using a non-alcoholic mouthwash. the infections that result when ignoring this regimen can be nasty.

I bite my cheeks often because one of my stims is sucking my tongue and cheeks. I can't deny being clumsy either.

I am pretty clumsy. It's very embarrassing.... I do bite my cheeks a lot. There's torn tissue there, I'm actually a little surprised I don't get ulcers. I'm not sure why though, I do have TMJ and the fact that only one cheek is more chewed up than the other may have something to do with that.

I have TMJ also but it seems not to skew the chewed-up results any.

I looked up TMJ,that is interesting.I can never find the right spot for my teeth when I go to sleep.Plus I do have a clicking on the left side, from an injury.

Stubbing/smashing my pinky toes into walls, doors, chairs, etc.? It never gets old.
Dropping utensils, food, small objects? It never gets old.
Running into people and being a pain in the ass? Priceless.

I mind as well make the most out of my lack of sophisticated agility and motor skills.

Do NOT even ask me to dance...........
