Surely this should be in the Entertainment area of WP?

Anyway...

I shall name specific albums as the artists I like tend to have made a variety of good and bad long players, so it's important to state which ones I like so no-one gets the wrong impression.

1. Ride - Going Blank Again.
2. Catherine Wheel - Happy Days.
3. Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream.
4. Compulsion - Comforter (the double CD version is superb)
5. The Beta Band - Heroes to Zeroes
6. The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - ACME
7. Reverse - The Jersey Switch.
8. Straw - Shoplifting.
9. Fu Manchu - Daredevil
10. Spirit Caravan - Jug Fulla Sun.

These are all of equal importance to me. I could easily stretch this to a top 20....

11. Portishead - Dummy.
12. Soundgarden - Superunknown
13. Green Day - American Idiot.
14. Nirvana - Nevermind.
15. Stone Temple Pilots - Core.
16. Extreme - Pornograffitti
17. The Wildhearts - Earth vs. The Wildhearts
18. David Ford - I Sincerely Apologise For All The Trouble I've Caused.
19. Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine
20. Redd Kross - Phaseshifter

Plenty more where those came from.

10 (No particular order):

1. 707 (Album-oriented rock band. Sounds like a mix of Loverboy, Foreigner and Elton John)

2. Treat (Swedish hair metal band)

3. Brother Firetribe (Finnish 80's metal band, sounds like a mix of Van Halen and Journey)

4. Saigon Kick

5. Night Ranger

6. The Outlaws (Southern rock band from Tampa, Florida)

7. Boston

8. Foo Fighters

9. Styx

10. Brian McDonald Project (Album-oriented rock. Sounds like Def Leppard meets Kansas)
