Have you spoken to your family doctor about 'hyperacusis' ?

I have a very dear friend who finds everyday noises absolutely unbearable... the same noises that everyone else seems able to simply "tune out". She is not on the spectrum, so there is no connection there, but in her case it was hereditary. Her father had it and suffered immeasurably (back then, there was no medical knowledge about it).

That said, I am among those of us who find all sorts of noises WAY too over-stimulating and extremely annoying, but this is due to my AS. My discomfort is nowhere near the magnitude of what a person with hyperacusis suffers with.
