This whole summer was pretty low for me. We had my brother and sister-in-law living with us, and I was so overwhelmed by the extra noise, mess, and just having two more people taking up space in my house. My stress level definitely affects how well I function. Now I am working full-time (and a lot of overtime) and going to school part-time in a very intense program. I'm having a horrible time trying to focus. I feel like my mind is spinning all the time. I feel like I am constantly one unexpected event from a panic attack. I'm starting therapy and (most likely) medication in a couple of weeks, and I'm just hoping the next few months will get better.

Perhaps its more of a depression thing than an autism thing?

Yes I know what you meed. Autistics have in general some problems to process their emotions correctly what can leed to moodswings. Also I have moments, just for a minute or two, where I have the feeling I can crasp the big picture and everything feels in a new exiting light.

yes this is definitely true for me. i have fibromyalgia so i always understood it to be part of that or chronic fatigue. however i understand these have a higher incidence in the AS population, so maybe still connected.
