i meet the criteria for ADD as well as AS. (have been professionally diagnosed ADD whereas AS is self-diagnosed). not sure what would happen if i went for evaluation for both (if the ADD would stand). i know i'm basically non-responsive to ADD meds.

how does it FEEL having hyperactivity?

Its like being over-charged. Like so full of energy that no matter what I did it just wouln't go away. Accidentally breaking things because I applied to much force because of being so charged.

I mean how does it feel if you behave that way?

The ADHD takes over. There wasn't any thought about something being dangerous or that I'd look silly. If someone pointed it out to me I'd still do it because what they were saying just didn't register. Not even a thought about the consequences of what might happen.

And what do you think in that situations?

Like I wrote above, the ADHD takes over. The thoughts just get overwhelmed by the excitement & adrenaline.
That's the major difference that the meds make. Now I think before I do things, and don't even have a desire to run around, poke wasps nests, throw stones, or do adrenaline seeking things.
What I do have to be VERY careful of is that I don't have anything with aspartame in. Within about 30 minutes the meds are cancelled out, and I feel like there is a crazy party going on in my brain & body for about 5 hours.

Raziel, I've tried to explain it as best I can & hope that I've answered your questions.

Thank you. :D
I'm more hypoactive and even if I want to do something it's difficult for me.
Just sometimes I get all exited and can't sit still.
For me one of the mainfitures next to difficulty focusing in ADD is time managment.

I wish I would be more active though. :?
