Music has been one of my primary interests in life since my early teens (although it did have a very strong effect on me before that as well). Drums were the instrument I got the best at, but I also played guitar and wrote a lot of songs in bands I played in with friends, etc. I would love to make writing, playing, and recording music one of my main activities in life, but it has tended to get pushed aside by the struggles of daily life, other interests that are less time-consuming, financial constraints, etc. I'm sincerely hoping, though, to get more involved in it again at some point.

my theory:

math and music are universal (not just created by humans) because sound is universal and the universe is filled with mathematics

Aspies and autistic folk are talented in these areas

thus we originate from a species that is more in tune with the universal things in life. Most likely we come from a more mentally advanced and less physical existence.

I´m a music teacher, but I haven´t practised it for years. Music is said to be especially popular among people on the spectrum.
