I like neuromajority much better. Our difficulties with the neuromajority come mostly because we are a minority that is why we are seen as different

I am the opposite to feeling superior to other people. I feel like everyone else is superior to me. I am the lowest of the low anyway; I'm intellectually average in some things and otherwise dim in everything else, I'm really shy and unconfident and nervous and don't have much opportunities to do much with my life, and I'm stuck in a deadend job what I'm unhappy in. So of course I'm going to experience plenty of people looking down upon me like I'm a piece of s**t.

You have your own set of unique qualities and you seem like an interesting person.

Sometimes people can be judgmental, you don't deserve to be looked down upon by anyone, even yourself.

+2. You may find that you're not all that different from some other people in that aspect.

Hmm. Yeah NT is derogatory, I suppose.

It's funny how we are supposedly so non-empathic, yet this thread contains mostly very empathic responses.

But I admit I hate it whenever an NT calls me weird or else writes me off because they don't respect me, because I think differently and act different. That's bigotry and it makes me very angry and scared / hypervigilant when I'm in an NT zone.

You're lucky then. I was always the last to be picked on any team.

The whole team used to groan when I ended up having to be on their side...I was always the one no one wanted to pick.

Me to. But I watch them. That is unstereotypical for an aspie

I if were blessed to be on the sidelines, I'd never watch them. I'd be in my world until gym class ended. Oh yeah, I once broke my wrist the first day of playing football in gym class 9th grade. I loved it. No football in gym class for the rest of the semester.

I watch professionals on TV. It was a special interest for many years. Not as much now

Me too. I was always picked either last or second last and that was only when a kid who would literally bring a calculator with him was around. What hurt the most was that I was above average athletically and was always a good sport and teammate. I still do not understand why to this day especially since in summer baseball I was treated fairly overall.

I feel just like that; not about all "neurotypicals," but my goodness, they make me mad as well. I put "neurotypical" in quotes, because there isn't really any typical arrangement of the brain. Everybody's is different.
A lot of them feel the same way about us. It is obvious that it can go either way. They don't like us; we don't like them either. They like us; we like them too. Meh

I think that I am mostly mad at the fact that some people do some things that are so irrational that they are not even able to explain why they're doing them. Some people are not willing to accept that they are indeed confused with themselves.
I'm in middle school, and while there may be stereotypes about what things happen in middle school during this exact time period, things come in all different kinds of stupid. There are MANY types of stupid here, and I don't understand how it happened.

I can't help but think that I am glad that I'm not like them. I am seen as either a really nice person or a really annoying person to some people. With that being said, I am not a jerk or mean or anything, but I too have times where I think "Why? How? How are you being so stupid? Seriously, what physically in this universe led you to be so stupid about this particular thing? This is not rhetorical, nor is it meant to be simply insulting; I would seriously like to know."

I hate when people think that my questions are rhetorical. I see no purpose whatsoever in asking a rhetorical question. If I ask a question, the reason is that I want an answer. I have no other reason to ask a question.
