My diagnosis document explicitly names my condition as "Asperger Syndrome", and so that's the description I answer to.

I shall continue to describe my condition as AS, despite what the DSMV thinks on the matter.

It doesn't bother me that we'll be the last of the Aspies, gradually fading out of history as our AS cultural identity (such as it is) is gradually subsumed into HFA.

I was in the last year of British education to sit 'O' Levels, but I don't go translating them into GCSEs on my CV.

My parents can still calculate in Imperial measurements/currency,

The standard has changed but the memory lives on.

I'll be an Aspie till I die.
