OP, where did you learn that? That part of the diagnostic criteria isn't made known to the public, and for good reasons. This is a serious breech of protocol.

Yes. It's called "forecasting" and "trend analysis," and is not unique to Autistics.

People who make money on the stock market are the easiest analogy I can think of for you.

Edit:

There exists no valid, empirical evidence for any psychic ability, much less for precognitive abilities, and even less for Aspies and other Autistic people to be 'psychic' in any way. "Magical Thinking" - where the correlation is mistaken for causation - is both delusional and fallacious.

However, in the interest of scientific curiosity, I propose a simple test wherein (1) an alleged 'psychic' writes down a number between 0 and 10,000 on a piece of blank paper; (2) the paper is placed in an envelope that is immediately sealed; (3) the 'psychic' and the envelope are both placed in separate solitary-confinement cells; (4) 500 miles away, another person inside another solitary-confinement cell flips a single coin 10,000 times while a hidden video camera records the result of each coin flip; (5) once the 10,000 results are recorded, the envelope is unsealed and the written number is compared to the recorded result.

If the two numbers match exactly, the alleged 'psychic' goes free, with one-million tax-free U.S. dollars in his or her favorite bank account.

If the two numbers are off by even one digit, the 'psychic' gets to spend the rest of his or her natural life in the same solitary-confinement cell.

In either case, the 'flipper' is released with our heart-felt thanks and one-way bus fare to downtown Berwyn, Illinois.

As soon as I saw this stupid question, I knew exactly where this thread would go.

OK. but does the number written down by the alleged psychic have to correlate with the number of tails or the number of heads or something else? I would predict that 10,000 would be the number of times the coin would be flipped and walk away with my one million tax free U.S. dollars. :rendeer:

I'm an aspie psychic. For example, I predict that I'm going to make a social fo paux today and feel like a huge dumb***. My predictions have a 99% accuracy rating  .

Are we psychic? No.

Can some of us predict future events with uncanny accuracy because we can see the pattern or trend emerging in current events? Yes.

The way our brains work, it is possible to pay attention to enough details and learn enough about some things and history to see where events are headed. Most people who think something is a surprise event simply aren't paying attention to all the prior events that were leading to it.

It's with that ability that I became filthy rich and built myself a underground lair on a remote island where nobody can come visit.

I call it my "little paradise"

No one can predict the future with 100% accuracy.
But at times aspies can appear to do this.

NT are subject to group or pack thinking which can at times greatly limits their ability to see other options.
Even when the plan truth is right in front of them group thinking can over ride this. This can give the illusion that the aspie can see the future.

No one has ever said that a psychic is omniscient. If God is real that is part of Gods' job description, not a psychics.
