There are certain textures that I just love. Microfleece is an especial favourite of mine, and I could stroke it all day long. It's what my weighted blanket is made of and it makes me happy all over. I also love the feeling of puppies and kittens who haven't grown out of their downy baby fur yet, as well as certain types of smooth countertops like chemistry lab work tables. I look a little awkward in clothing stores because I'm always stroking the merchandise because I love the texture of certain fabrics.

Gaad I love touching stuff! I have always liked the way threads, nicely turned and milled surface textures felt and can spend hours touching metal things with such textures. I also like to pass my fingers through the teeth of gears, it makes the sides of my fingers feel strange but in a good way. I even have a block of aluminum I milled with end result having various textures just to fiddle with when nervous or trying to think or needing to come down from too much built up energy
