Tinnitis Anyone? (Ringing In The Ears)

I have it; I've had it as long as I can remember. In fact, I thought tinnitus was normal until I was an adult.

I get it when I'm starting to melt down--ringing in the ears and a roaring noise behind it.

i might its a very faint ringing i think caused by my Tubes

Yeah but it seems to be due to taking Elavil -- which is ironic, since Elavil is sometimes prescribed to reduce tinnitus!.

I monster tinnitus - thankfully I am usually only aware of it at times like this when Im writing about it - thank you very much But it is one of the reasons why I sleep with loud white noise playing.

have had awful tinnitus since teens,along with the profound hyperacusis it had been caused by built up brain injury from lifelong head banging.

a lot of people-spectrum and non spectrum think they have tinnitus when theyre actualy hearing the buzzing of electrical items,the world is overpopulated with gadgets and high tech stuff and they do give off noises unless completely disconnected from the mains.

I do, but suspect mine's a result of seeing lots of live music without ear protection when I was younger, coupled with driving a couple of very loud cars early on in life.
