Well, I love dogs, and I find betta fish really soothing to watch. They even form attachments to you and notice when you come and go from a room! :D Bettas are kind of delicate, though - they're really sensitive to temperature changes and toxins/contaminants in water.

I love dolphins and whales, too, but unless you're Jesse from Free Willy or Sandy and Bud Ricks from the Flipper Show, you can't really keep either one of those as pets. :lol:
