I have always been into dolls, for as long as I can remember. I don't really collect facts about dolls but I can spend hours looking at dolls and doll accessories online. Every once in a while, my interest will be sparked by a particular company, and I will look at their dolls pretty exclusively for a while. I also went through a couple days where I watched tons of videos about dolls on youtube.

Looking at pictures and videos is collecting information! :)

In any case, that's definitely a special interest.

Sure, it's still a special interest if you just like looking at pictures. When I was one year old, one of my very first special interests was Winnie the Pooh. We were going on a long car trip to see my grandparents far up north, and my mom and aunt bought a Winnie the Pooh coloring book to occupy me during the ride. I'm told that I spent that whole trip either sleeping soundly or just staring at the pictures of all the Pooh characters.

Even as an adult, I still love just looking at pictures of the animated movie and TV characters I love. I have bunches of screencaps and works of fanart saved to my laptop. :D
