I see why the idea of indigo children appeals but, like faireys, gods and ghosts, something being comforting or appealing has nothing to do with it being true. A little objectivity and critical thinking will tell you this is nonsense.

I think it's more like a halo except it surrounds your entire body.

I find it interesting to realize that even as a child, I would have been embarrassed to be labeled 'indigo'. Contrary to the popular belief that Aspies are just trying to be 'trendy', I far prefer a diagnosis that acknowledges my serious functioning problems, rather than painting me as a magical sparkle unicorn.

I haven't heard of that term before, yet other than that... its interesting that they would use a shade of blue for a term....

I wonder whey they chose "indigo" rather than ultraviolet to indicate exceptional being.

I had a dog called Indigo when I was a kid.

I named him that because he was indigo under a certain light.

While I have no problem with the idea that some people are born with spiritual gifts one of the books claimed 90% of kids born in the 90s were these so called indigo children. That struck me as a load of manure.

And as these children became adults we were supposed to enter this magic age enlightenment. Still waiting for enlightenment. Oh, and the deadline given for this age of enlightenment is this year so they'd better get to enlightening us.

I do mind. Do you have a picture of your dog under that sort of light? It sounds like something pretty cool to watch.

This. I may be too "realistic" for my own good, but I have never bought into the idea of souls, other worlds, past lives, psychics, or people who were "put on earth to do great things". I believe in things science can prove, what it has proven, genes, evolution, memory, understanding, etc. If that makes me narrow minded, well, I can live with that.
