I also remember faces very well, unless they're out of context. There are also certain names I typically mix up, such as Larry and Randy, or Jeff and Greg, or Karen and Mary (maybe it's that they have similar vowel sounds). It could also be because those are such common names in my generation, but I always seems to remember other common names like Mike and David and Jim.

I'm pretty good at remembering faces, but I suck at remembering names. Even though many NTs say that they are this way as well, I think I'm even worse at remembering names than a typical person.

I just called somebody the wrong name today on email at work. That's the worst thing to do as it's a permanent record of your mistake.

Don't really call people by their names in conversations,
often just "hi" as I don't often do large group conversations
but sometimes people don't know who is being addressed
so pointing occurs.
