Fed up!
Ditto to not having any speacial talents. I'm extremely slow at learning everything...always the last in a group to learn some type of physical activity or game. It actually takes me so long to get okay at something that if an NT dedicated the same amount of time to that activity, they would be a master at it!
In otherwards, not only do I not have any talents, I literally suck at everything! I even had a "friend" once tell me that I'm just.not good at doing things. I suck at talking too. I slip up my words and people say I talk slow.
But when evaluated my numerous speacilists, I was said to have a high IQ, so I got no assisstance with algebra or anything else I found hard to grasp.
I do have a high IQ. I got a degree in microbiology for crying out loud...But I still suck at learning new things and I have never been good let alone great at anything....And I've been unemployed for a long , long time and it's pretty degrading. Many NTs just think I'm lazy. Such a very typical assumption from them. "If I was him...I don't understand why he can't....yeah, sometimes I have such a deep hate for them. Deep and primitive hate.
I don't quite get this. A good number of the NT kids I know on forums are super tech smart. Since when is that an aspie thing? I think along with smart NT's there are smart aspies who are good at tech stuff. I think the only real difference is that a bigger deal is made over aspies doing this stuff, because they are aspies. I mean if there's one aspie who's really good at something, I bet there are 10 NT's who are just as good at whatever. It's just a stereotype.
Here's a list of some stereotypes:
African Americans Are Good At Basketball
Asians Know Martial Arts
Native Americans Love to Gamble
Blondes Are Dumb
Cops Are Addicted to Doughnuts
Aspies Are Geniuses

in reality, there isnt such a thing as an atypical aspie or autie or NT,theyre all spectrums within a spectrum.
there was a time when computers werent around, shock horror and loads of aspies existed then; dad being one of them he is absolutely fking useless with technology and am always having to sort his computer out for him remotely or going to his house, sister;who is in her mid thirties is aspie and she is useless with computers to,she only knows the minimum to get her going-she has no interest in them at all.
am guessing the reason aspies are exclusively tied with being computer geniouses is because computers are [in comparison to humans] predictible and rule driven.
as for vicky, she is a genuinely nice person who has a lot of positivity and optimism for the spectrum as opposed to being a supremist;which takes on a whole other level- that is what personaly know of her.
but this is wrong planet and we all say stuff that others dont agree with or we dont agree with what others say, if are fed up with someones opinion, has it helped giving an opinion back?
everyone with autism is different, so it doesnt automaticaly equal skills or success, even being neurotypical doesnt mean they have skills or success.
woud agree with what others said about a break if are struggling sweetleaf-it helps, have personaly returned after a few days break,as am suffering badly at the moment with a spinal injury which is making MH worse.
