Point blank. Yes. I went all raw a few years back did a ton of juicing and poured gobs and gobs of fresh green juice down my mouth. I spent a ton of time researching foods and how they work. Yes, it made a world of difference and was light years beyond what any medication can do. I lost 120LBs of weight because i was way fat, i lost about 1 1/2lb a day and started to feel amazingly healthy even before I lost most of the weight. I fell off that horse a while ago but never regained the weight and am in the process of rebuilding that life style. I ant to feel freaking amazing again.

When you go raw and juice you can function with much less sleep, you are more vibrant, have more energy for crap all day long and shutdowns are much more manageable and are easier to sleep off by the next day. Once you alkalize the body you can even have a few cheat days during the week without it being a major set back, you will find you have more wiggle room that you do on other diets. But you have to fully alkalize the body first and that takes a month or more.

I have been thinking about writting a comprehensive tutorial on this for a while and I might soon now that I am getting back on it.

I ate 100% raw vegan for 3 months. I will agree that I felt amazing.

Space out and totally forget my surroundings and I twitch a lot once you pull me out.

hmm, sounds interesting but i'm not sure how doable that would be for me considering my living situation/money/etc. what you say sounds really good though, i guess i need to put more effort into managing a steady diet so my brain has energy to function better. there's just a lot of information out there and i never know where to start.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what do you mean by "alkalize the body"?
