31/36, which is above average. That has led me to think that, maybe, the problem with ASD is not "being unable to read body language" but rather "not being able to use that information in our social life". :?:

I've wondered about that too...

23 out of 36.
I'm surprised. 75% of the photos I got no idea what the expression may be. It took a lot of time for me to figure them out and I was doing it this way: "Answer 1? No, I don't think so. Answer 2? No, I quess not. Answer 3 - maybe. Answer 4? - He is not looking this way so probably no. Answer 3 should be right then.". All the eyes looked almost the same for me. Such a boring test, there was no right answers for me.

Btw:

Quote:
This test was originally developed by prof. Simon Baron-Cohen at the University of Cambridge as part of his and his team's research on autism. Adults with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism scored 22 on average on this test. Again, large individual differences were observed. There is big overlap between the results of typical adults and adults with Asperger Syndrome.

I guess I am an average... aspie. :D

25.

I know I've taken this before, or a variant of it, and I can't remember if this is an improvement or not.

I also was guessing on quite a few of these...or so I thought.

the test could be different. this is how I think the test should be:
They show a list of (30 or so) feelings that would be in the side part of the test so we can look at it anytime.
Then they show us the eyes and ask us to write which is the feeling from the list that it expresses more closely.
Then there would be a score system based on the feelings similiarities (ex. if the answer was 'sad' and person answered 'upset' they would get more points than answering 'happy')
that would be muuuuuch better. It wouldn't be good to compare close scores because of subjectivity but it would be great for seeing who really has trouble with identifying feelings because there would be a huge gap.
