You don´t even need to name aspergers. Just say, that social cues aren´t your strongest side, but you mean well and actually like others and want to be with them.

Good advice, along with "watch what they do."

Also, it's a good idea to keep it simple and not try to show your clever verbal repartee at the coffee stand. If you just say "thank you" and smile, it can go a long way.

Don't ask me. I've only ever had one woman in my life - got her (somehow) at 24, lost her at 46, still can't find where I've put her at 47. She's got to be around here somewhere! Oh look, my program's finished compiling!
