Um, lots?

I sometimes have routine repetitive tasks to do at work, and did for several months at one of my last jobs, but more recently I do something different almost every hour of every day.. I've become quite well adapted to constant change and it hasn't been bothering me any.

I do still have some morning/evening routines, though, I'll admit. But I still try to get some non-routine errands/tasks done each day, too, if I can.

for me its not the Routine and timing, its the consistency of things but sometimes time does play as a factor. I NEED my computer, if i go yo sleep over my Cousins house, I NEED my:
Computer
Blanket
Xbox
Skylanders (all 30+ of them)
Bamboo tablet
Headphones
sonic stuff

and countless other things. if i were to ever be without those things or to never be able to use them i will meltdown, shut down or simply never fall asleep.

as long as each day is consistant with these things, im fine, when i was younger everything was time based but after a lot of change and work, i relied on it less.

How much I can deal with unexpected sudden changes depends on my level of stress. If I have too much stress, or too many things change at once, I'll try to put things off. That also prolongs the stress sometimes. I like it best when I have time to think about things, even when I already know what I will decide beforehand.

I don't feel like I have or need a rigid routine for everything, but I have to accept that I do better with more structure than I had previously thought. It runs counter to my self-image as resilient and a little random.

I am fine with non-routine things unless they directly contradict my routine. Even in the short term, if I am going upstairs and someone asks me to do something, I have to go upstairs and then maybe consider what they have said. I would be devoting all of my attention to going upstairs as "the thing that I am going to do now" and I get angry when someone interrupts it.
