I can't tell the difference between arguing and bickering, I never raise my voice to anyone.

I used to be a right confrontational little git, but over the past few years that has totally reversed. Now I avoid confrontations about almost anything, even things like being short changed at the shop etc. I just don't much confidence to speak up about anything these days, although I'm that's a lot to do with old "friends" constantly going on about my anger issues. (Ironic considering one of them has anger issues FAR worse than mine and is pretty much a sociopath.) I kind of miss the ballsy, Shady-esque "just-don't-give-a-fuck" me actually

Definitely! I avoid confrontations at all cost and can't stand them. In the best case scenarios they make me anxious, worst case they cause me to melt down.

It doesn't help that I can't distinguish a harsh/loud voice from an angry one...

I've sensitive to it, but not in the way everyone else is.

I love it.
I love it on a dangerously uncontrollable level.

Just seeing other people getting into some massive fight with each other sends me into a giggling fit and plasters a cheshire cat grin over my face... unless I do my absolute utmost to exert self-control to the maximum. But underneath it all, I want them to kill each other. I yearn for havoc and mayhem. I yearn to see their pathetic house of cards they call a society come crashing down around them.
Or... well... I do and I don't... because I don't choose to feel this way, I can't really 100% identify with it. The whole thing is completely instinctual.

As to whether I avoid it... well, I try to keep my distance and control the laughter... because much as I love it when people start strifing each other, the last thing I want to do is draw all the hostility in my own direction amidst the throes of hysterical amusement.

I avoid it almost all the time. I dislike any manner of petty or irrational conflict. If there is a (rare) legitimate conflict that concerns me, I will say and do everything I can think.

Seeing conflict gives me a great deal of anxiety, even if I am not and will not be involved. Why? I'm honestly not sure, it may just be brain wiring.

At the same time, seeing accidents and emergencies gives me no emotional response. Aspergians can be very good in a crisis. Again, must just be the wiring.
