WOW, this was another way where I thought I was the typical autistic. I am WIERD here! I wash in HOT water. Some might even be SCALDED by it! I HATE cold showers. But I LOVE cold weather. I have gone COMFORTABLY into weather below 32F(0C)!

During the past year, cold makes hands and feet itch so I have to wear gloves and thick socks...maybe blood vessel reaction? I am diagnosed with lupus. Otherwise dry, cold weathers is fine but I prefer warmer climates.

Isn't this spell check that Alex added (I guess he added it) GREAT? Misspell a word and it is underlined in red. With a right click of the mouse, it gives you option how to spell itf...Thank YOU! :D

Which do you prefer to be temperature wise...cold or hot?
I have noticed that I am very sensitive to the cold but can tolerate being too warm. Being cold is painful to me physically, and totally clouds my brain. How does everyone else react to cold/heat?

It's excactly the same for me.
When compared to my brothers or cousins they can stand cold 10 times better.
But on the other hand when it gets really hot or humid i'm usually the most comfortable one.
I'm as you'd say cold blooded.

I hate the cold. I hate winter. My nose and toes can't stay warm anywhere, not even inside most houses. Only during late spring and summer am I comfortable. People will complain about the heat and I won't even notice it until it passes 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Hate humidity, hate being too cold. I like cold drinks, hot food, hot showers, and cold weather. I like it to be temperate indoors.

I'm the very same to that.

Tim knows what I'm talking about. 80F days already in February in the northern hemisphere.

I can't stand the cold. I really hate even being a little cold.
Not the best trait for someone who comes from Scotland.

I can tolerate heat very well. When everyone is overwhelmed with heat I'm comfortable.

I can't stand being both hot or cold. I'm usually the first to complain that it's too hot or too cold.

I'm not overly sensitive to either extreme, but I do have a slightly odd "perseverance" effect. I'll often be found in snow at Christmas, wearing a tee-shirt, but eventually I'll switch to heavy clothing. Then I'll be found still wearing jumpers and coats until past mid-summer.

I voted 'both', but if I had to choose, I'd rather be cold than hot.

My perfect outdoor temperature is about 60F.

Meant to put hot, but I put cold. I get overheated very easy. The cold doesn't seem to bother me as much. I feel cold, but I guess it doesn't really effect me.

Ditto.

I'm the opposite. I'm extremely hypersensitive to temperature and wind on my skin. I annoy myself when I'm driving my car and I'm constantly changing the thermostat, opening the window a little more, then closing it, argh. I wish I had a car with a thermostat. I'd set it at 78 degrees.

I moved from Northern California where it is always cold and foggy (well far too much of the time anyway) to Hawaii, where the average temperature is just right, and the trade winds are gentle enough to not bother me. I hate air conditioning, especially when it's set too low. I get so pissed off when it's beautiful outside and you go in a building where it's so cold not even a jacket is enough to keep you warm. I've been known to use those disposable hand warmers you get at REI for office buildings.

And cold water? Forget it. I'd rather be dirty. I don't even like the feeling of getting out of the bath, and having the water still be on my skin - I have to dry off as quickly as possible.

I grew up between Maine and North Dakota. Cold weather really doesn't bother me, as long as I'm DRY.

I currently live in South Carolina, which has wet winters, and I feel colder down here than I did up north. --In Maine, I could spent time outside at 15 F with a T-shirt with no problems.

South Carolina has hot and very humid summers that can be unbearable. When I lived in Arizona for a few months in 1986, I wasn't really bothered that much by the extreme heat there. The humidity bothers me greatly, epecially when a summer cold front changes into a stationary front, as happens quite often here.

Humidity/dampness always seem to intensify either heat or cold for me, and it is unpleasant.

At the same time, I can handle humidity quite well with a temperature range of 45-75 F with no real problems.

I seem to be cold most of the time. Have to have air conditioning off in the summer. Have to have the heat on in the winter. I always have to take a sweatshirt/jacket wherever i go because i don't know when i'll need it.
