Could that be a low energy or even an Aspie stare maybe? When I was a kid I had that dead look typical Aspie stare. It was not all the time but I see it in a lot of my childhood pictures.

No, it's the color and shape of the eyes. In both instances, the eyes are a milky gray-blue and slightly bug-eyed. They both just make me think of the eyes of dead people I've seen in photos.

I pay inordinate amounts of attention to people's mouths when they speak, and one thing that can really gross me out, to the point of feeling nauseated, is saliva. Some people spit as they speak, others open their mouths and there's that long string of spit connecting their lips. Others never seem able to keep their mouths closed and you see their teeth or tongue glistening with spit- it's just really disgusting.

No worries about not relating to this one. I am glad that you don't have this issue because it's not a nice thing to have. It feels really rude to be grossed out by something someone can't control like the shape of her face. And I know what it is like to be on the receiving end of it because of the color of my skin. I have had people have the same thing towards me so I hate that I have this issue. But I am really glad that we are shape buddies. That's a fun and great quality to have! :D

Oh goodness, that sounds a bit scary.

I get grossed out by people who are unbathed, dirty/stained/torn clothing, teeth missing, greasy dirty hair, stinky, and funky smelling.
It makes me want to vomit. I work part-time at Wal Mart and there is a lady that buys large amounts of cat food every week and smells like a litter box. She wears the same cloths and has a mustache. She really makes me sick. I go as fast as I can to get her checked out. Seriously, take a bath, wash your hair and put on some clean clothes.

EEEWWWW!! ! I got grossed out just reading your post. I KNOW!! I can't even deal with baby drool. Even dog drool bothers me. And spit in general like if people spit on the street I get grossed out of if I see spit and don't let me step in it. Even with shoes on my feet will burn if I accidentally step in it. And if people make that sound when they are about to spit, OH NO, That's just too much.

Bodily fluids really sicken me. I can't handle kissing or breathing in the same space as someone else. When I was a child my cousins figured this out would hold me down and spit in my face.

LOL

Now that I've reread it I feel physically grossed out as well. :shaking2: :eew:

That is horrifying. I am so sorry you had to go through that. I hope they have apologized for treating you like that.

I get grossed out by feet. I can cope if people are wearing shoes, and depending on the person/situation.. socks. But bare feet.. Urgh. The last time my mum tried to show me her toenail varnish, I freaked out at her. Don't even get me started on sandals or worse.. Flip flops!

It IS scary. Both of these women are nice enough, but I don't like them to come through my register because of the creepy eyes.

I mentioned before about bad teeth. It's bad enough that I have a lot of customers with bad or missing teeth. But several of them have gum disease as well. Many of my customers are African-American, and so the gum disease is more obvious, in that the dark brown skin so contrasts with the raw pink of the gums with little stubs of broken decayed teeth stuck in.

Very wrinkled skin gets me too. I'm not talking lines around eyes and mouth, but rather the tightly crinkled skin of people who are likely heavy smokers. One of my female customers has crinkled skin, deep lines above her lip, AND a moustache. That's almost too much.

I'm willing to bet that there are certain facial features that get me, similar to the OP. I'm going to keep this in mind and post again if I notice anything.

I have worked in public places a lot and have to look at many people. Mostly, I feel nothing. Nothing against them, nothing for them, except that I observe things about them. Even if I hate the person for some reason (rare), I will observe them unless I think it will bring on attention from them.

I do not enjoy the gross things people do or have described above (spittle issues, etc) but it doesn't really get to me most of the time. In fact, if someone looks really down and out, dirty, crazy looking, I feel more comfortable toward them than many normal looking people.

I don't think I get nauseated by particular faces, but I certainly clock the odd someone in my head either as a scratter or someone who won't be up to any good. Not completely a foolproof instinct but it's probably held by more people than just me, and is different to feeling sick at someone's face. I'm repulsed by people in polo shirts though.

Me too!! ! Yuck!! ! I also thought of this as a human thing but I really hate saliva and stank cooch and greasy and fat. Makes me angry as well as grossed out. And of course I've hated people for their perfume....

I am going to be inappropriate here. But I felt that way about the late Robin Williams. Not just his appearance, pretty much everything about him annoyed me. Never have I felt more seperate from the world then in the last 2 days.

My brother told me Robin Williams creeps him out. This was actually a month or two ago. I can't even remember why, but I had brought up Robin Williams. Very random topic. And my brother responded that the guy gave him the creeps, but didn't specify why.

As for this post in general, I think many people have reactions to people's faces. If they have a good reaction, it is called "attraction." If they have a bad reaction, they keep it to themselves, unless they are a kid, and then they spend some time making fun of the person. I'm not like that at all. I have no reactions to people's features. It's one of the many reasons why I classify myself as another creature. I do, however, get repulsed by mannerisms or movements sometimes. I had a TA who reminded me of an oaf when he got up and walked. But then again I did hate his guts so maybe that's why. My neighbor, whose guts I also hate, seems to slither when he walks. Blech. He's just so wormy and icky. And then there are occasionally people on the bus who make weird smacking noises that gross me out.
