Recently (or maybe since long ago), whether it's the tech support center that I call or those annoying phone salespeople calling me, most of them have a very bad accent and I often cannot understand what they are saying. That itself is annoying enough but in addition they have this flat unfriendly tone that irritates me even more. They all sound very similar. They seem to be doing their job just for the sake of annoying their customers. Instead of yelling (I never yell), I have learned to hang up as soon as I hear that accent.

I hate when you call a phone rep for something, and not to be offensive to people who don't speak english or only speak very broken english if I am calling to get help with like a product from the U.S or U.S based company or whatever I'd think they'd want a call center with people who can speak the language the majority of callers will be speaking...but when you get one and can't understand a damn word they say. Its like you don't want to be rude but in your mind you're thinking 'can I please get someone who speaks my language?'

I even had a debt collections agency have someone who could barely speak english call me....and its like yeah I am going to set up a payment plan with someone i don't understand and possibly end up misinformed about what I agreed to due to not understanding. Though had no money to pay them anyways so refused to set up any plan anyways.
