So am I, going by what you've said. I have an Asperger's diagnosis, and you sound like even more of an aspie than me.

Put it this way: if you go to an expert to get assessed, and don't come away with some kind of autistic spectrum related diagnosis, I'll punch myself in the balls.

Judging by what you've written here, I don't think you are on the ASD spectrum.

It's possible to be weird, quirky, and socially awkward without having an ASD. The main thing to remember is that an ASD is an IMPAIRMENT, and if you're not "impaired," you do not have an ASD.

I'm relationship impaired; socially I'm fine for the most part, however there's certain situations I do not know how to react to. I also lose any sort of relationship I had with someone as soon as emotions, and intimate discussions take place.

Do you have strict parents who forbade you from expressing any emotion while you were growing up?

What happens inside you when other people do express emotions? Do you feel the emotions but get uncomfortable about it? Or do you just not understand the emotions? Or do you feel vulnerable?

You can do tests online. If you know spanish, the website espectroautista.info has a lot of interactive tests.

On ndar.nih.gov/ndar_data_dictionary.html you have "metadata" of various tools. I recommend you the ADOS-2 Module 4 because it is very descriptive and shows the cutoff scores. You have to "decrypt" it. It does not have the tasks (like "demonstration task").

On the web there are pdf versions of other tools; I've found the SCQ, the SRS, the ASDS, the GARS and the GADS. The ASDS has its Examiner Manual too. The SCQ and the SRS have cutoff scores. The GARS and the GADS are practically useless because there is not an available chart for converting raw scores to standard scores, like the ASDS's Examiner Manual.

Of course this doesn't replace an interview with a mental health professional.

Other things can explain your behavior. Don't forget to "see" if other diagnosis "suits" you. It's also possible that you are "idiosyncratic" or lack experience.

Edit: another resource is the Autism Mental Status Examination (AMSE)
