Does playing with hair count as stimming?

I do that to my hair all the time and sometimes to my eyebrows too

I do it... but is it stimming? I am in the spectrum so when I do it it might be considered a stim but when NT girls do it and it is called "unconscious flirting" in their case.
I play with my hair usually when I am reading something interesting. So perhaps I am "flirting" too? Autistic focus is often compared to love ("special interest feels like being in love") so it could be logical conclusion, right? :lol:
