Generally, my voice is soft and people have difficulty hearing what I say. Like in restaurants, the waiters/waitresses sometimes don't hear what I say and I have to repeat myself or whomever I am with says what I said for me. My voice is quiet when I'm feeling shy or anxious (in most social situations).
I have the opposite problem sometimes too. My voice gets loud and I don't realize how loud it is until someone tells me. That tends to happen when I am comfortable with the person/people around me. The other day in my chemistry lab, my partner had to remind me to lower my voice a couple times.
I think difficulty with voice modulation is pretty common for people on the spectrum.

This is me, sometimes if I can't hear well, physically or overstimulation, I get too loud too.

My voice is soft most of the time. If someone asks me something and surprises me, sometimes my voice is too quiet for many people to hear or understand initially. If they don't see my lips, they sometimes think I have ignored them.

I find though, that when I am supposed to be quiet, people think my voice is too loud.

My voice is very soft most of the time. People often have a hard time hearing me.
My ears are very sensitive, so I feel like I'm yelling when talking at a 'normal' volume.

I can talk loudly if I absolutely need to, but I don't like to because it hurts my ears, and makes my voice sound even higher pitched than usual (which is already pretty high pitched, for a guy).

Soft, I guess. It sounds loud enough to me, but a lot of people ask me to speak up. I have a very strong voice(I've been told I should be on the radio), but I rarely use it because it doesn't feel natural to me.

This, though my voice was louder when I was much younger, as I didn't always control the volume of my voice. Now, I usually speak in a volume that's clear enough to be heard, but not too loud.

Loud, but I wish it weren't. I'm very sensitive to loud sound, and I really, really don't want to bother anyone else who is when I talk to/near them, but I don't hear it as loud as it really is. :(

My normal speaking voice is very soft; years of being asked to speak up has confirmed this. However, once you get me going on one of my obsessions, you may find yourself asking me to keep it down! So for me, it's both.
