All cats have Asperger Syndrome
A cat won't allow you to pet it unless the cat is in mood for it and trusts you.
When you pet your cat the cat looses its mind. The touch is so overwhelming cat can fell down off your leaps controlled by the nice feeling and be surprised of what just happened.
You can control a cat by using a moving string. They can't deny it. Even a feral cat will be interested by the string and may lose its awareness about its surrounding. I have been "hypnotizing" and catching many cats this way.
Cats are sensitive to smell and sound. They are afraid of loud sounds. When my mom uses vacuum cleaner my cats escape from the room instantly - and I follow their example.
Cats are picky eaters. They will refuse any food they don't know unless it smells nice or they are very hungry. They also have favorite foods and will refuse anything else, waiting till you give them their favorite one.
Cats have their routines. When my mom was returning home by train at 17:05 one of my cats was leaving house at exactly 16:55 and waiting for her at the train stop everyday.

In other words, cats are just like me.lolMaybe that's also why I love them so much.

I would love to have a pet but I travel so much that it's not a good option for me.

Has anyone watched a show about something called 'species dysmorphic disorder'? It's supposed to be about people who are really animals. A little like someone who's one gender but is under the impression that they are the other type of thing. Only this would be between species. There was one episode about a guy who had been born a person, but was actually a wolf. He dressed like a wolf, behaved like a wolf, and everything.
I don't even know if such a thing really exists, but suppose it did, would you think you should have been a cat? I sometimes tease some of my coworkers by pretending to behave like a cat. But really, I sometimes do wonder what it would be like, and what my cat thinks, but I honestly don't feel like I should have been, or am a cat.
