I eat very fast. used to work in retail management, so never got a real break.

Plus I think chewing is gross- it fills up your mouth with slimy, puffy things. :( UGH

I drink fast too. Can down an entire 32 ounces of water in one go.

Usually on the fast side but it really varies much the same as with NTs I imagine. If watching something or reading at the same time, I tend to be slower.

Yes. Anyone who's eaten with me will tell you I'm always the last person to finish. Plus I have a big appetite. :)

I like it, though. I like to savor the food, and it's better for my digestion.

I would more typically take a long time to prepare my own food, and devour it.

If someone else makes it, I am overthinking something that should be simple.

Yes, I am a slow eater.
I always take less food than others and even then I end up the last one done. I take small bites and swallow it slowly. What's surprising - I am full in the same amount of time as others, despite eating only half of the amount they did. I guess the "it takes 20 mins for your brain to realize you are not hungry anymore" is true and many people just eat more than they actually need by eating too much before the signal gets to their mind.
That may be the reason why I am so slim. BMI 18,5.

I was even worse when I was a kid. I used to forget about swallowing. Mom could give me food and ask me after 15 mins if I swallowed. I was opening my mouth then, showing her the food is still there. LOL She was calling me a hamster.

I also could never eat bread. They were trying to force me but I was stubborn. Only my grandma found a way to make me "eat bread as a normal human does" - she was cutting the bread crust off and making a tiny, bite size cubes of the sandwich. It was something I could eat.

Right now I can eat bread with its crust but I still cut the crust off or eat the inside as one would eat a watermelon slice and leave the crust if I am in a hurry. The bread crust takes way too much time to chew and swallow.

I eat very quickly. At home, I am always the first to finish.

No I'm a fast eater. I eat like I'm starving. If I'm the last one still eating, it's because I'm eating the food other people couldn't finish.

I inhale food. I have been forced to learn to pace myself. I used to finish a full meal in less than two minutes.

I used to be a slow eater as a kid but my family complained about it all the time. So without realizing it I adapted to eat faster over time. By the time I was in my teens I was getting told to not eat so fast.

Complete opposite, very fast eater. I don't really like eating in front of other people or in a place I'm not comfortable in. Sometimes I'll overate or eat a little too fast and lose my appetite because of how fast I eat. Basically like a starving person.
