I've mostly been in private school for autistic, special needs, developmentally disabled, significant support needs etc. kids. I tried regular school with some special ed classes last year, but it didn't work out so I'm retaking the 8th grade.

EsraS I have become great friends with my 2nd cousin who has classic autism.

I am meeting him again tomorrow.

Getting to know people on different pants of the spectrum has changed me.

I was worrying about how to regulate how often we should contact each other.

My 2nd cousin saw this discomfort in me and took over the whole thing.

He is less then half my age.

Getting to know my 2nd cousin has been fun.

EsraS getting to know you has helped me too.

Thanks that means a lot to me. I'm glad your cousin connected with you that way. I would like to have an older cousin like you.
