The thing is people act like Asperger's no longer exists. I can't just go find an Aspie support group, because it's going to be an Autism support group. I hope I'm not repeating myself. It's just that seemingly everyone only thinks low-functioning Autistic people need support. I can't tolerate them, and have and likely would be bullied because of that.
I can't start an Aspie support group, parents will
lie and say their child is Aspie when they're Autistic. Parents will spread gossip about how my family are Aspie elitists. I've read about this happening on the web. I just have to face it Aspies simply don't matter to the Autism community, unless they can use us.
