I hope you get a note taker.
My own handwriting looks like a six year old's and is kind of embarrassing on top of taking way to long a time. I cannot really take notes, and also could use a note taker. On top of that I find it nearly impossible to sort out which information is important.

Yeah my handwriting sucks. Like it's almost half cursive, half printed. I tend to make words and letters flow into each other, but still keep things mostly in print. Here, I'll post a picture. https://imgur.com/a/ISU7vlL

My writing is actually pretty good, especially my signature, but I think it is rather plain for a female.

My handwriting has never been good, especially when my hand starts aching after writing a few pages. I've seen children's handwriting and thought "I wish my writing was like that." I've watched some videos about improving it, but when I try, it's like my hand doesn't do what I want it to. It might start tidy, then get messy.

This is what it's usually like, but it gets worse sometimes:

Jessica,

Your printing looks quite legible to me and people can understand what you write.

I don't have any form of motor issues, yet my handwriting still sucks. It's been over 7+ years since I stopped holding a pen for over a year.
Bad, but likely still readable.

If I rush, it gets confusing. If I have to make it very legible I have to slow down, but it'll strain my hand after around 2 sentences or so.

The recent pictures are even more legible than my handwriting.

I don't know about you, but I think you've all got vastly superior hand writing to mine.

What I write is legible, but it's definitely not anything that's very impressive. Especially when it's done at speed.

SteelMaiden--
The technology exists for you to be able to record the lectures yourself and then convert them to text. There are several ways to accomplish this but rather than to into a lot of detail here, if you Google convert lecture to text you will see how it can be done. Some can even be done on smartphones. They require varying levels of tech-savvy-ness but you should be able to find one within your or your friends' capabilities. And it will free you from having to depend on someone else. Hope this helps.

I'm sorry to hear that, SteelMaiden. I hope you get the assistance you need with the notes.

I didn't realize so many of us had handwriting difficulties. My peers and teachers always told me I had excellent penmanship. I didn't know I was autistic growing up, but I felt like I had to go the extra mile to make myself understood. Maybe I thought having good handwriting would make up for my other difficulties. (It didn't work out that way, though.)
