I used to be crazy over this anime when I was younger; I still have a soft spot for it even to this day. But I used to get embarrassed about it because my brother always went "Pretty Witchy Doremi chi!" or something along those lines every time he caught me looking at pictures or a video involving the Ojamajos (or any other anime girl. He'd probably have a similar reaction now.)

OT: I still kinda enjoy cartoons and children's shows from time to time, even though I'm nearly 16. I write little children's story things when I don't particularly fancy doing anything else, not that I aspire to become an author. I also collect cuddly toys.

In today's society, NT college kids still watch and play Mario and Sonic, games primarly made for children. And it is acceptable to that society, NTs wear Mario T-Shirts, Sonic T-Shirts, and have Dragonball merchandise. In fact colleges even have clubs for them. It relaxed me in terms of interests growing because it's kind of the same way that NT teenagers in the 1920s and 1930s, though much more mature and competent than NTs their age today, watched what we call childish themes and cartoons and hilarious stuff. That was acceptable to them particullary since Walt Disney and other cartoonists drove up American innovation through cartoons at that time.
I still however, act mature and my age appropiate interests outweigh my childish interetsts by a whole lot.

Uck this is a weird topic for me, actually.
I watch Spongebob every day at some point. I also watch other stuff, but some is more geared toward adults. I have a few main shows: Chowder, Johnny Test, Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama. Those are my main shows, Spongebob being like, the thing I need to see and Family Guy I play at night, occasionally it's switched up with American Dad.

I find it difficult to watch things I haven't seen before [how does that even make sense?]. I was explaining how that works to someone a little while ago: i'll play stuff in the background continuously until Ive caught the bits and pieces enough times that I kind of know the episode/show. And then it's not "new" anymore.

Um, I realized at that point, when I was explaining, that it still didn't make sense and that I probably won't be explaining that to most people in my day-to-day life anymore on the occasion that it may come up.

So... cartoons? yeah. I got the first 100episodes of Spongebob one Christmas and went crazy when blockbuster shut down and have Amazon prime and that's mainly what I watch on there. I also have a Strawberry Shortcake sleep sack thing. And I like hair ribbons and colorful socks and coloring. I tend to have a very very young sounding voice on the phone because i HATE the phone and so I get kind of anxious and it makes my throat tense.

When I get excited I tend to respond like a little kid.
I don't know. I'm thirty two going on 7. Maybe.

Magical girl shows like this and Pretty Cure are also made for 30+ year old Japanese dudes as their secondary audience.

I watch cartoons, read children's literature picture books, and sometimes sleep with plushies.

Being "child like" is not the same as being "childish". Childishness is just being immature, where as being "child like" is being a child at heart, while at the same time, not compromising maturity and responsibility.

I'm very child like. I can still spend hours playing games like Pokemon and buying "toys". There is nothing wrong with it, I think the world would be a much happier place if everyone unleashed their inner child once in a while.

I still love to watch cartoons, snuggle stuffed animals, and adore coloring.

This. Plus, I also watch stuff for nostalgia's sake sometimes. I own DVD's of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show, as well as Super Mario Bros. 3 tv show, Captain N: The Game Master, and of course "The Legend of Zelda", all of which are cartoons. I'd honestly still watch the smurfs, if they were ever on tv.

So, I guess I fall into this category myself :D I hadn't really thought about it much until now.

I also agree with others here on this: It's fine to keep a childlike attribute or two as long as it doesn't interfere with day to day life for you.

I still sleep with stuffed animals and I still watch cartoons. I still have the imagination that I had when I was a kid too. Nothing wrong about having an inner-child.

Got to work early today and Spongebob was on the TV in the break room. I think it's the only time I've been grateful for it being there.

Had this stuck in my head for the first half of the day:

It was awesome.
