I'm into rowing in a big way. Have competed in Australian masters games, Queensland Titles and northern rivers championships as well as local competitions and marathons.
I also cycle a fair bit as cross training for the rowing.

I take no interest in watching or playing them whatsoever (the only exception being curling, which I like to watch). I'd rather watch the grass grow.

Some sport video games are okay though, but a lot of them are as boring as the real sports.

Watching sports? .......YAWN! Oh, well, bicyckle race can be kind of interesting, - so can gymnastics, - but I would never look it up.
I like bicycling myself, but the thought of competing - even on friendly terms totally puts me off.
What I do, that could look like some kind of sport, I DO ALONE.
I would like to learn to play pool, but only because I like to mess with technical finesse. I actually don´t care a hoot about the game.

I pretty much am completely disinterested in/loathe all Sports. I find them dull and tedious; particularly the tribal competetivity they encourage. In the UK, it's football (Soccer) that is the primary focus of seemingly everyone. I find it incredibly irritating that it is assumed that as a 30-something male, I would support a team with passion and interest. When it's the World Cup, I hope that England get eliminated as soon as possible (which, fortunately usually happens  )

In school, my favorite sport was Baseball. I liked fielding, because you stood out in a field and waited for the game to end. After that I lifted weights for some time, but I didn't particularly enjoy it.

Most popular sports are very boring. AFL is just mindless violence that is too wimpy to draw blood, and cricket is glacial.

I really like big multi-sport festivals like the Commonwealth Games or the Olympics. There are so many entertaining sports that don't get the airtime they deserve, like Skeleton, where a woman dresses up as a power-ranger and goes whizzing down a tube like a pinball, aerobics, where some guy spins around a horizontal bar, athletics, and the swimming. I really like the swimming because of the red line they place in front of the swimmers, which represents the current world record. I also enjoy the ridiculous opening and closing ceremonies they have for these events.

If they had the Olympics every year, I'd be a massive sport fan. I'd recognise the athlete's names and everything.

Same here. No interest in anything to do with teams.

When I see a stadium full of sports fans I think they are all absolutely insane in the worst way.

I'd rather watch an ice cube melt.

I can't say I'm into sport. But I don't rule out the possibility that there's some kind of sport I could enjoy. Take away the fanaticism, the ethic of "must support 'your' team," the spectators' noise, the commentator's stupid voice, the silly clothes, the interference from business (ads and money), the "anybody who doesn't know the rules isn't one of us" mentality, and the plastic, ultra-modern presentation, and I might be interested.

I used to like playing football as long as the weather was OK, but nobody taught me the rules or showed me what to practise, so I annoyed the other kids and realised it wasn't for me. The school forced us to play football later on, and they assumed we knew how, so that didn't work either, and I got out of it as soon as I could.

I can almost enjoy watching cricket, though again I don't know what's going on most of the time. Also snooker (nice calm game, I've even played it), and sheep dog trials.

Most of the time sports don't interest me. However when offered free tickets to go with some friends I would go watch something. I do enjoy races, people, horse, car or wagon. Actually when I was in school the only sport I was chosen for was endurance running. I was very thin but had great stamina. I didn't understand why other kids couldn't keep up after the first few hundred meters.

I see sports as a bunch of sweaty idiots running around, catching a ball and acting like it is a big deal.

I was a decent basketball player in high school. I also ran competitively in college. Nowadays I bicycle very seriously. I don't race, but I can hold my own in a fast group ride.

As far at watching sports, it's pretty much limited to American football and hockey. I'll watch any level hockey, from high school to the NHL. I'll also watch major international hockey games, like the Olympics and World Cup. Much faster game on the bigger ice in the international game.

Oddly enough, I don't really enjoy watching the sports that I've played.

I love watching baseball. Looking at a baseball diamond calms my mind for some reason. The physics of the game is fascinating. The rules are a whole story in themselves (the infield fly rule, the designated hitter rule) and the player's personalities (especially relief pitchers) are interesting. Also, the action moves more slowly compared to your NBA, NHL, or NFL games. That gives my brain time to absorb everything and not get overloaded.

I love basketball. I've played it all of my life, and I love watching it. When I get too stressed out or overwhelmed, it's my go-to. It's the only time my brain turns off. I've played for so long, I can just let go, not thinking, and let 2-3 hours pass without my mind spinning on things.

I have tried to get into watching sports but it just seems to have no draw for me. I honestly don't understand why some people enjoy watching sports or cheering on their favorite team. I am on the spectrum but high functioning.

I enjoy watching football (the REAL kind, the one where overpaid men roll around on the floor whenever they want a free kick), but am also interested in football stats. I love sites like Statto (statto.com) that let me see any table I want or even create my own.

I like exercising, but watching or playing team sports have never been that interesting to me. I do know an Aspie guy who has sports (watching) and sports stats as his special interest, though. I think it's been a few different sports over the years, but it's definitely his thing.

An interesting question. I don't seem to have coordination issues apart from being very heavy-handed and used to be ok at sport at school, although I enjoyed individual events (weightlifting, javelin) more than team sports. I do, very occasionally, watch cycling on tv and the IFSC world cup climbing videos on youtube but don't cheer on any particular person or team. In fact, I'd say that that's is what irritates me about sport - the obsession and blind allegiance to one particular team over others.

I'm not in any way nationalistic or patriotic and don't understand supporting the "national team" during large sporting events. Club supporting seems even weirder. Unless you are talking about small-scale local teams, most of the members of a sporting team are from many different cities or even countries and they will have very little, if anything in common with you. They don't know you, even though you think you know them. They earn more money and acclaim than people who perform equally as well in professions that actually mean something and help people. So let's forget about this football malarky and instead dedicate the same level of support for our doctors, nurses, firefighters and charity volunteers!

The only "sport" I participate in is climbing, which I do for reasons other than competition - exercise, working out the puzzle of the route. I was the same with archery. I was very good at it but had zero interest in any of the tournaments.

A final point, being a man in the UK and not liking football (the professional version is a game I dislike more than any other) means that I am treated with deep suspicion and doubt will forever be cast on my manliness :)
