My right eye is sort of a lazy eye, but it can still move around like the left. But if I'm staring at something for a bit, it starts to go upward. It scares people. lol I never look directly out of it unless my left eye (the dominent one) is closed. Even then, it's extremely blurry. I used to wear glasses, but as it turns out, they over-prescribed me so I stopped wearing. Honestly, if I'm not reading something small from a distance, I see better without them. So yeah, my eyes are weird. lol

Great until 50, then started reading at arms length, now I run on Dollar Tree reading glasses.

My eyes are weird, too. I'm blind as a bat (20/650), and they are 100 % correctable. My current optometrist ran a series of tests and found my lenses were normal, but the shape of my eyes are what cause the near-sightedness. Usually, it's a combination of both.

My sister has regular vision, but we both can both our left and right eyes separately, like some lizards, and it freaks people out. We do it when we've been partying, and want to gross the kids out. I have not idea what that trick is called.

I switch between glasses and contact lenses.

I haven't seen well for years. Started needing bifocals when I was 35, plus life-long astigmatism. Tried contacts, right eye for far vision, left eye for near, but never saw anything well. Just last week got third set of progressive bifocals and still have problems with them - no good middle vision, have to hold my chin to my chest to see where I'm walking. They suck - my eyes and the glasses. Plus you can't lie in bed and read - the frames jam your face. Yuck. I'm glad my new computer can talk to me because I'm afraid I will lose sight eventually. Where's the button to make this font bigger and easier to read?

Presuming that it's windows, go to settings->control panel

Click on accessability options.

The display tab gives the option for high contrast.

To just make things larger, set your resolution (in display) lower.

Well I was diagnosed with intermittent exotropia an outward deviation/turning of an eye which tends to lead to diplopia or "double vision" and a loss of depth perception I find that people tend to get annoyed with me when I engage in communicative exchange because due this I have a convergence range of about 12 inches. Also, I find it rather humorous when they start speaking slowly and loudly.

I do recall reading some where that some of the symptoms of AS poor eye contact, posture, gait etc could be attributed to visual defects such as strabismus which I have a form of.

After all I find it rather difficult to look at my girfriend for any extended period of time lest I wish to meet her evil twin.

I am mildly short-sighted in my right eye and mildly far-sighted in the left (used to be short-sighted in both as a teen but was told it would correct itself), astigmatism in both eyes. I see yellow too strongly and blue not strong enough, and have trouble with 3D vision. As a little kid my right eye used to be turned inwards a lot (squint I think) and I still sometimes find one eye wandering.

I don't have a dominant eye either.

Sorry. Words. Couldn't resist this. "Riflery" I mis-read as "Rifflery" which I thought might be a lesser offense than "Burglary". One when the offender merely looks though your stuff, but doesn't take anything. Possibly (to keep "on topic") happening when an intended burglar arrives without their glasses, and hence can't figure out what's worth taking.
