Who's in charge of them? Also, you might want to consider a letter to the editor of your local paper. They are often in need of 'sexy' headlines such as "Teacher Calls Autistic Student Worthless". Sometimes, revenge is a dish best served publicly.

BTW, how old are you?

i hate to say it, but, HEAR HEAR!!

I've always hated it when people say that something completelyharmless is "socially unacceptable". It makes no sense.

Yeah then what happens if the teacher tries to sue the student who puts that in the paper for slander because there would be no way to prove that the teacher really said that?

I know if enough students are angry, they could stage a protest. Last year at my school, some students skipped class and stood around the flagpole after a teacher said that a student who drowned one weekend deserved what he got. Also, my cousin reckons that the students at his school successfully sent a substitute packing for just generally being a git (I'd had her as a sub, too, and I agree with that verdict).

I know teachers who have been seriously assaulted for saying less.

This teacher needs someone to tell her to keep her mouth shut.
One thing is for sure; sooner or later she is going to say the wrong thing to the wrong person.

If this is as described then that's disgusting. How dare that teacher speak to you like that?! To be honest, if that's the way that she treats people with recognised disorders then it's plain she should not be in that line of work. Full stop.

Yeah I know, I woulda spat on her or slapped the teeth out of her mouth and put the fear of god into her. Take no BS, do not tolerate intolerance.

But hey kid, don't follow my advice. If you slap your teacher it'll just make things worse, on retrospect I probably wouldn't do that either (though I'd so want to). If you really wanna get even, deafeat her with your AS mind, strategize on it. Trust me, there are ways;)

That teacher is stupid. I was underestimated by teachers, and I never had a formal diagnosis. Usually, it was by the teachers who were stupid themselves. All of my best teachers always brought out the best in me, regardless of what diagnosis I might have had.

What the teacher said was wrong. But don't go around telling people you are autistic because this is the bad treatment you will get because of it. One's diagnosis is often better kept quiet about as you will be discriminated against less.

He's a Brit. So that makes things ideal in two ways - less rabid lawyers (or barristers, as they call them) and The Sun. One could also attempt to bait the teacher into repeating an autism-related insult while secretly taping her. You'd have to check into your local laws to know whether or not that is legal in your area. It's legal in Utah, and I was in a class with someone who decided to tape our professor delivering a homophobic diatribe. Those of us who complained and had him on tape got a tuition reduction and were excused from his class :)

But, if that teacher is generally disliked, other students that have been upset by her could be used to your advantage. Determine how many people dislike her and devise a vengeful scheme accordingly.
