My wife and kids accept me for who I am (quirks and all). But, do they really “get” it? No. Not really. Heck, I sometimes don’t “get” it either.

By the way, my wife oftentimes tells me to stop stimming. It drives me nuts when she does this. Of course, I just ignore her. LOL.

They understand only parts of it. They do not comprehend how much it makes me who I am. But I still feel lucky they get what do compared with many who only get dismissive reactions.
