Do you have delusional thinking, i.e. do you ever think you are being watched (when it is very unlikely you could be watched), that you are being remotely monitored, that you are a pawn in a massive conspiracy (government or otherwise), that your existence has grandiose religious import, that your thoughts can be read or that thoughts can be inserted in your mind... or anything else delusional?
I do have a degree of delusional thinking and always have, as far back as I can remember.
Everybody does, and one's man delusion is another's inspiration and truth... think of how many people have caused great changes based on religious delusion... Martin Luther King comes to mind, the man was feebleminded in regards to the truth of the barbarity and falseness of the god of the bible, yet he went on to move and persuade people because of his "delusion".
There's also good scientific reason to believe that irrationality is necessary part of being a rational person: The ability to imagine and see beyond the available data, that can only happen through imagining and letting your mind run counter to what society and its social programming tells you how to think and behave, in other words you follow your own path and be original.
Many so called "delusional" thoughts are actually nuggets genius, but peoples mind's can't easily translate what's in their head to themselves, or to others directly via telepathy with all the experiences and data that the can see inside their mind. Words, speech and language is a poor communicator of things that can only be fully experienced in the data-space of a persons mind.
