I assume that the OP means ignoring rather than ignorance. Or could "ignorance" also mean "ignoring"?
I meant to mention that too but I don't want to turn into the grammar police...
One point I've noticed is, yet please bear in mind I'm newly diagnosed, hence why I'm new here but there is an overwhelming number of threads about "me, me, me", yes I understand we all have issues, but a lot of the threads are why are people ignoring me, why are people hating me, etc.
I half answered a thread a moment ago before scraping it because it was getting too personal, but it was about being on the phone. I have a long standing aspie friend who can talk for England, you can start a sentence but he then takes it as an invitation to dump everything he's has even slightly related to the subject, he makes my eyes spin, literally! There's times I don't answer the phone because I don't have a spare hour or two to just listen to his lectures and diatribes, especially since I can't get a word in edgeways!
As EzraS said, follow basic rules of presentation and writing:
- Have a quick pithy intro so we know what its about (so we don't have to fathom it ourselves)
- No 1000 word essays as an introduction, especially if there's no paragraphs or other formatting
- Don't insult the reader / world straight away (avoid terms like everybody, nobody, always, etc... those groups are rarely true)
* Know when to stop, you'll get another chance in the ensuing debate!
Oh, don't just post a link and say, what do you think... Give your opinion!
