Yeah, sometimes I can tolerate it better than other times. I'm up and down. I wear earplugs when it gets bad. But the earplugs after awhile start to hurt the inside of my ear canals, so I take them out. That's when it was a problem today.
I didn't have a meltdown, but I was a little testy when the guy showed that he didn't care. But again, he does not understand how disturbing the noise really is. Not to mention he's damaging his own hearing. I regret how immaturely I reacted, and glad I made peace.
I do feel like the only one like that there. I've tried to explain to people that it's like balloons unexpectedly going off in your ear all throughout the day. It's distracting at best and painful a lot.
