Yes, I've taken multiple illegal substances.

AFAIK, Codeine is the only opoid I've ever taken.
Usually it's in the form of a painkiller.
I've never taken it recreationally.

I've taken a whole bunch of substances in my life, and I was dependent on them for some time in my life.

However, overall, getting "clean" was fairly easy for me and today I'm perfectly capable of taking substances sporadically without developing a new dependency. So I wouldn't say my relationship with illegal substances is really "abusive".
