Otherwise there are just FAR too many socially-retarded ASD traits to possibly list here.. hence why Dr. Atwood has written an entire book about it.

This is kind of a cop out answer. I'm sure it's just that it seems like too big an undertaking at the moment, but I think it would be helpful to identify examples of specific behaviors that show the kind of thing you are talking about. I think you are making a significant observation with lots of truth in it, but a few problems and exploring actual problematic behavior will help to clarify that.

Not really. There are countless ways to f**k up a social interaction and be perceived as offensive or rude. Tony Attwood's book describes many of them. It's cheap on amazon.com and can be found for free as a pdf ebook if you google for a torrent download.

I don't see why you can't cite an example or two yourself, as you clearly feel that you know what you're talking about (not that I'm suggesting you don't). It would seem quicker than everybody getting the book and then guessing which examples might be relevent to your view. Though if anybody here has the book already and they feel like posting a few quotes from it, you could tell us if they were the kind of thing you meant, and we could take it from there.
