To the original question, I've long suspected I'm emotionally younger than I really am. I'd guess at most 12 years old, and probably stuck there.

Asked my therapist about it a long time ago and he agreed, tho' the exact age wasn't specified.

Isn't this kind of common for HFA people?

You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

What would these results mean? Been told here I must be a "half pint".

did any of you experiment with drinking or drugs as teenagers?

I tried alcohol a few times in various forms but sensory issues (couldn't get past the flavor, didn't like being even more disconnected from my body) & a quirky endocrine system ensured that I'd get nothing good out of it. Unfairly, I *still* had hangovers. Other drugs, no. Even Rx drugs either hit me like a high speed train at low doses or have very little effect. Smoke & hops triggered migraines when I was younger & there was never an opportunity to try anything else (strict conservative christian upbringing). I ended up substituting nature, meditation & self medicating with caffeine, exercise and capsaicin for the endorphins.

The label is not surprising, anyway, since much of, "acting mature" is culturally idiosyncratic and largely picked up through social learning...
