I'm not refering to any herbs with pronounced hormonal effects (as far as I know, it's best for everyone to do their homework regarding questions like yours), only simple nutritional remedies or teas to deal with your resulting symptoms for now. There are different extents of efficacy depending on what you choose. Eleuthero for example I find far more direct than chamomile, I'll probably brew some of both up blended before I go to bed. Muscle relaxants like Kava require some moderation, though a girl I know gets a lot of tension relief from any medicines in this caegory.

You say, that the doc calls it a number of physical Things, while the therapists call it autism. Someone OWE you some kind of help to find out, what it is. Couldn´t you ask the good doc to give you a referral? It would only be fair. If, indeed, it is autism, you can start looking for strategies to help you. Medicine isn´t all.
