I did. I developed normal though after I had a complicated birth and then I started having problems around nine months of age because I was sick and I had a lot of fevers and ear infections and then I was deaf so I made less and less sounds and I even had autistic behaviors like rituals. Even with tubes in my ears I still had a speech delay and had problems with eye contact and I showed signs of tactile defense and still had rituals. I don't know if this helps because I was deaf as a infant and toddler. I also started walking at 15 months. But I think this is also why I was diagnosed with AS than autistic disorder. I bet if I still had those same problems without hearing loss, then it might have been autistic disorder. I did do pretend play as a kid which is why other doctors didn't think I had autism as a small child and I also made eye contact off and on if they had my attention on something of course. My parents used to just hold a favorite toy up to their face so I would look at them. It was even interesting to read in my IEP from when I was five years old that I didn't have classic autism but I had autistic behaviors.

when i was evaluated they spent a while talking to my parents asking about my history, they asked about when i reached the developmental milestones and my parents told them i reached them all in normal time.
