, yes I'd add that to my list as well, Jacksons technology power trip he had with the Hobbit Trilogy. It breaks my heart because their were a few parts or concepts that I thought were really good and in line with the greater lore, but that just exemplified how bad the rest of it was though. I was really happy when they included the White Councils raid of Dol Guldur, but it was executed pretty terribly. The Nazgul looked like they were straight out of a video game.
Thank you, I chose it because I love to create things. Also, I love elves and the Noldor were students under Aulë so I thought that could work but later I realised it sounded like I was one of the dwarves... oh well

I agree that some of the added parts would have been great had they been portrayed better. Some scenes had me thinking, "okay, that happened but I'm pretty sure it didn't happen like that." Also, I was upset that they messed with so much of the story just to carry out and put focus on the whole Kili/Tauriel love thing. I would be fine with Tauriel if she was just a more fleshed out character of the nameless Captain of the Guard in the book as they had made it seem like she was going to be.
