I have had hearing issues and operations most of my life... Tinnitus has been a constant companion, however i dont let it bother me, each person suffering from it experiences and copes with it in different ways, for me it is a high pitched sound that resonates in my head... Generally only been prevalent when in a quiet environment, however for some individuals it can be that bad it can lead them to suicide.. It is annoying but have had it so long i just accept it as being part of me... Funny as i often tend to veer off course when walking, i put this down to tinnitus only to find it was likely related to aspergers... funny ole world :)

Yah - tinnitus is a royal pain in the butt. Struggle with it as well - stay away from aspirin if you can as it's known to make tinnitus much worse.
